It is to be used as a national screening clinical indicator and one of the KPIs for “Choose your Doctor’s Program . The FIT test has a high sensitivity for detecting colorectal cancer. The test is more convenient and noninvasive for the patients compared to other screening methods, such as colonoscopy, which involves a more invasive & expensive procedure.
