Description - The screening program in 2023 consists of two parts. Part with investigation of new environmental toxins in treatment plants and part with investigation of new environmental toxins in marine top predators. The acquisition includes sampling, analysis and reporting. Part 1 will examine substances for which the EU is considering regulation (REACH), substances that are persistent, mobile and toxic (PMT), substances that are identified as problematic by the Swedish chemical authorities (exposure index) and UV substances. Part 2 includes follow-up of discoveries made in the 2021 screening program and substances that were selected from the LifeAPEX project. The acquisition includes both of the two
