Description - Description: An Urgent Award has been made for an out of hours clinical support to community end of life/palliative care services. The service supports children who are receiving palliative/end of life care. It works alongside our children's palliati ve care nurse and provide out of hours and holiday cover. The reason for the urgency was not foreseeable by and not attributable to the relevant authority as the previous provider gave notice of their intention not to enter into a further contract. A new provider was therefore needed urgently due to the specific requirements of the Service and Patient safety.
