Description - Scope : Rwanda is set to be home to a new heart research center that is planned for construction in Masaka, Kicukiro District, Kigali. construction works for the first phase of the project, which is backed by the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for De velopment (EAPD), are expected to last for 18 months after which equipment will be installed. The project, whose cost has not been revealed, will be subsidized through funds raised in the form of grants from partners such as Chain of Hope, Magdi Yacoub Foundation, Sawaris Foundation, and other philanthropy organizations.
