Dynamic body scanners are modular photogrammetry-based capture and analysis systems that allow us to track human movement, measure joint angles, generate digital human models, and track pieces of clothing and/or objects being handled or close to a human body. When combined with force plates, the high-accuracy kinematics provided by these systems can be used to estimate muscle and joint contact forces during various activities performed during daily living tasks, such as walking, running, jumping, carrying, standing, and lifting.
