Velcon Chemicals is planning to set up active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) manufacturing unit with a capacity of 40 tpm at GIDC Saykha in Bharuch district of Gujarat. The company has received environment clearance from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Gujarat for its investment proposal.Work on the API unit is expected to commence by March 2023.
